Our team of skilled understanding and passionate people utilise all their experience to help and guide our patients, young and old, to make the decision that is best for them.

Technology, experience and skill

The premise, one treatment suits all, does not apply here and technology has helped orthodontics in Stoke to provide targeted treatment to correct a range of different dental misalignment conditions. Dental misalignment correction appliances come in two forms, namely braces and aligners. Braces have been improved and reinvented so that the traditional metal brace has been vastly improved and comes in a variety of forms which can be attached to the outside or inside of your teeth. There is a version which requires very little dentist intervention as it is self-adjusting. One of the biggest breakthroughs over the past decades has been the invention of the dental aligner. Braces traditionally work by attaching blocks to your teeth and wires are passed through the blocks and bands attached to increase tension. Aligners resemble a gum shield which fits over your teeth. A series of these aligners is required to be designed around you and the condition being treated. Each aligner has a slightly different orientation and is worn on average for two to three weeks before the next one in the series. They can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing, but must be worn for a minimum of twenty-two hours each day.

More discreet

Some braces and aligners are created from a clear dental material making them inconspicuous. This makes them more acceptable to both young and old alike, because teeth are being treated almost invisibly. The end result is that your once misaligned or overcrowded mouth can now produce a confident, radiant smile that you can be proud to reveal.
